Glove Benefits
This fastpitch glove is made in the 12.75″ length. That allows it to be large enough to net just about any deep drive or pop fly that comes your way in the outfield. Easton builds the shell of this glove with their Premium Reserve Steer Hide leather. That Steer Hide should be able to hold up to the rigors of even the most intense softball schedule. And at the same time, they build the inside of the glove to be extremely comfortable! The cowhide palm liner combined with the Ax Suede wrist liner should keep the hand comfortable and dry when it is in the glove.
We believe that since it is made with high-quality leather, it could come a little stiff at the outset. A break-in will most likely be required to get it game-ready for most players. However, it does have the single-welting on the finger backs of the glove. When compared to other high-end fastpitch gloves that have double-welting on their finger backs, these single-welted gloves should break in a little bit faster!
And lastly, be sure to know that this glove could also be used in the fastpitch pitcher’s circle. The Modified T-Web should keep the pitcher’s throwing hand concealed and prevent the batter from being able to see what pitches are being gripped.
